The stalk of this plywood side table has a flange that, when viewed at a close range, resembles tiny steps winding around the trunk of a large tree. Such a tree with its spiraling stalk feels like the wimsical world of Dr. Seuss. Who would climb up such a tree staircase? The citizens of Whoville; who else would it be?
