Carved Plywood Furniture

Years ago in high school, Matt Flynn received a random postcard showcasing a black and white photograph of a sculptural, carved plywood chair. The memory of that artistic work made a lasting impression. Fittingly, the first finished pieces of Flynn A&D's workshop are its own designs of stacked plywood furniture. First sculpted in virtual reality, refined with 3D modeling, sliced for CNC routing, then assembled, sanded, and finished by hand, these pieces entail a great amount of time and effort to produce. As such, they are one-of-a-kind pieces or made as limited editions.

Resin Furniture

Freed from the limitations of fabricating with sheet materials, digitally-modeled forms are 3D printed with photosensitive resin, assembled, sanded, and painted. These pieces are tables bases or stand-alone sculptures.
